Introduction to the Rolling Stones website: This website offers the complete collection of original songs and covers by the Rolling Stones, to listen to and to compare. Discover the roots of the greatest Rock'n'Roll band in the world, there's a wonderful world of original music to explore. You can find out 'How Britain Got The Blues'. How The Rolling Stones transformed Black American Blues, Rythm'n'Blues, Rock'n'Roll and Gospel to music that conquered Britain and fitted the Western European ears as well. Here I present the roots of the greatest Rock'n'Roll band in the world. There's so much to enjoy, so much great, mostly forgotten, music. If you only know the Stones-versions just listen to Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters, Otis Redding, Solomon Burke or even Buddy Holly in the regular section. Jimmy Reed was the biggest influence in the very early period, you'll find more about him in the outtakes and live section. Listen and compare and see what our heroes did with those classic tunes ! This website is very well documented. Firstly it is based on the expert opinion of the Stones-fans on the IORR-forum.  Secondly we used the works of documentalists like Felix Aeppli, Nico Zentgraf and Dieter Hoffmann. You find all the necessary links to the documentation and a literature list below. I'm proud to say that this website got very positive feedback on the forums and from the experts.
